  • What happens when you update your permalinks?
    What happens when you switch temporarily to the default theme?
    Under admin -> Options
    Do you have the same 2 uri’s?

    Thanks for the help.

    I’d say your Permalinks aren’t working. Check that page for troubleshooting tips.

    In particular, confirm with your host that mod_rewrite and AllowOverride are both on and enabled.

    i will. thanks a lot. hopefully i won’t be back tomorrow with more questions.

    My host still hasn’t figured this out after over three weeks.

    I just did an update to 2.1.3 for another blog and now I’m getting the same problem – all links pointing to the interior of the site are pointing to the home page, but the url in the address bar is changing. So it could be something from update.

    And / Or is this an htaccess issue? And if it is, how do I fix it?

    Please, somebody help me.

    I’d start by setting Permalinks to Default so you have a functional blog.

    Then refer to my earlier post in this topic.

    okay, thank you. by putting them back to default, it’s working… finally. not sure why this is happening. i’m using permalinks for another blog and its working fine. i’ll get on my host again. again, thanks a lot.
