Can you show me a screenshot of your settings page? Both before and after a save of settings.
@collabora I think you have a misunderstanding of the how the color selector works. There is a large square and a bar. The square is where you select the color and the bar is where you specify the color depth. The lower the bar selector the more gray and less saturated the color will be. Slide that bar up and watch the colors in the square change.
If this doesn’t make sense let me know. I’m on mobile and can’t put up a screenshot right now.
Andy
Also, the box where you entered ‘red’ is for a hex color code.

Right, but I thought I used the named colors. Maybe I did select or entered hex code. In any case, that does not explain why all the colors went to default days after creating them when I added a 5th category
From what I can see from your screenshot. The colors that you selected were the ones that were saved.
Please select colors and post before and after saving screenshots.
The large square will show the color inside of the circle selector that is going to be saved.
It seems that you have been able to save some color settings.

I know how to set and save the colors. The issue is the 4 I set a week ago reverted to default when I added and assigned color to the 5th category. When I get some time I’ll try to reproduce that. Or get a new calendar
Sorry, it’s just that I’ve never been able to reproduce such an error. From what your screenshots showed it appeared as though the colors weren’t set.
This plugin is not written or supported by Modern Tribe, please don’t blame them for how it works.
If all of your previous colors were set using the color name then it’s possible that the latest update, 6.0.0, caused a breaking change when I added sanitization of the colors.
