• I just posted to my blog again today and noticed that all the links within posts (though none of the nav links provided by the theme) are being broken with a double ‘<a href=”<a href=”http’. It is almost as if, on the way out of WP, a regular expression was run replacing any “http” with ‘<a href=”http’ which ends up making that stuff appear twice in a row and breaks all links.

Unfortunately, hunting for the text ‘<a href=”http’ in the WordPress code is a bit difficult, since that is a very common string.

Any ideas what may have caused this or how to find and fix it?

OK, I found the answer to my own problem. The double-href problem was being caused by the media-wiki for WP plugin. Yikes! I disabled the plugin and all is well again.

    THANK YOU…this SAVED MY LIFE
