All Ireland Map

    Hi,

    I am doing an appraisal of this plugin for possible future use.

    I am working with the Irish map. I can display all the counties but for the Northern Ireland it will only display as one block and not as the six counties. Is there a way to implement this.

    Under the Good Friday Agreement both the UK and Republic have a right to claim theses counties for All-Ireland initiatives.

    Hi @irishetcher thank you for using the plugin.

    The plugin uses maps from the amcharts library, that although it includes hundreds of maps, it doesn’t have a map for Ireland and Northern Ireland together, divided by counties, like the one you need. There’s a few maps for the UK, but none of them actually have Northern Ireland divided by counties either unfortunately. This might change in the future, as the library of maps grows.

    In the Pro version it’s possible to use custom geojson maps, so if you have access to the map you need in geojson format, it would be possible to use it. (For inquiries about the pro version, please use this contact form instead)

    Thanks Carlos. I will keep your suggestions in mind and look to the Pro version if we decide we need this level of granularity. Unfortunately explaining the set up for the North as a van diagram of two cultures is very complex, more complex than it needs to be.
