I have a podcast. The default feed generated by WordPress works great in iTunes. I can run it directly or through Feedburner and iTunes picks up the episodes no problem.
Except the feed only shows 10 posts.
Of course, this is my setting, and I’m fine with that because I don’t want people who subscribe via a reader or who visit the page to have to see EVERY post. But of course I want every episode available in iTunes. So currently I manually create an XML file to list just the episodes, and that’s working.
But then I got to wondering if there’s a way to have a secret backdoor that lists all episode posts that I could submit to iTunes. So my first attempt was to make a page that displays all the posts, which worked, but the feed doesn’t display the posts, so maybe pages and feeds don’t mix.
I’m already doing a custom loop for the episodes category, so I’m not sure if I can do another one, but that’s the only other route I can think of.
