Hey there, first time installing the Favicon plugin. I have the website linked above.
There must be some piece of information im missing out on because i cant get this to work. I’ve looked everywhere for a solution. Please help.
    I’m using Safari 5.1.7………and AllinOne 4.2.1
I go to settings, then click on the All in one Favicon plugin.
This is where i feel real dumb or angry that this isnt working.
There is not one “upload” button that works, not for the front end or back end.
Im thinking this is where i upload my PNG from my computer folder and click save, but nothing happens.
I’ve tried dragging my PNG into the line, uploading it to my media library, feeling quite ignorant of this process. Shouldnt the ‘UPLOAD’ button work?
I’ve deactivated it, ive gone through every FAQ, ive searched for a step by step process to upload a file……i dont know what im missing.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly!

    Hi,

took me quite a while to find the problem, Safari 5 seems to be the only browser that does not display the file upload dialog if the input field is not displayed.

The problem is that people want to be able to upload files, but also copy’n’paste URLs for already uploaded favicons. This would not be possible with some JavaScript magic and hidden elements, which seem to be a problem for Safari 5.
I only have Safari 6 on my mac which works fine with the current version.

If you already uploaded a favicon, you can try pasting the URL into the appropriate fields and then hit “save”.

The next version will work for Safari 5, but the release will have to wait until I have found a solution for Internet Explorer (8?) that won’t upload files for a totally different reason…

    Cheers,
    Arne
