Your images didn’t “disappear”, but it’s probable that either your theme is not properly made or edited, OR that some other plugin is already doing minification and merging, OR some other plugin conflicts when merged.

The score is also greatly affected by your image optimization and server response time, so if those are not alright, no plugin is going to help.

Most issues with FVM can be solved by looking at the faqs:

Also, the plugin is not plug and play… it has a lot of options.

It’s meant for users that understand what it does (merging and minifying css and js only), what that means (it’s common that conflicts arise when you merge js and css) and what the options mean (what are the implications of what you’re clicking).

I suggest you hire a developer if you’re not familiar with speed optimization, or contact us via with your site link and I can provide you with more feedback.

FVM works fine for most sites and themes, as long as you can fix what needs to be fixed (usually the theme) for FVM to work properly.

Some other plugin can even be adding changes, that prevent FVM from working… so leaving a review without considering all that, or without asking for help, is not very thoughtful.

As the plugin author, I only have to defend my work and explain to people that speed optimization is not a simple job that can be fixed by simply installing a plugin.
Sometimes. if your site is simple enough or well build, it can solve all your issues, but not all sites are made equal.

That being said, I would be more than glad to help you getting a better score with FVM, so anytime just let me know via

Hello Raul, thank you for explanation.
I will give it a try as soon is possible, and re examine my review according results.

    Thank you.
