    That’s a dropdown of image sizes. Just select it and choose another size.

    As for the “Vorschaubild”, no idea what that is, normally it’s Thumbnail, Medium, Large, and Full Size. Themes and plugins can add their own sizes though, so perhaps one of them has added that size.

    Sorry for misunderstanding.

    Yes, we had selected and saved the size “middle” in every pictures in the past. Now after updating to wp 5.3 the size “thumbnail” was displayed as selected on any picture of our old articles, although we had saved it in middle (on every picture and every article we hade ever written).

    If we write a new article and save a new picture with the size “middle”, it looks fine. Only the pictures of older articles are effected.
