Could there be a security issue with the plugin, as there has been over 200 fake users put in the system, and some of our own users, has received mails from our site, that we haven’t send?!?

    Hi amdbta,

We have updated our plugin on different sites to recreate the issue, but have not noted any problems so far. Is it possible that multiple WordPress users are working on the website? Perhaps, the account has been modified to a lower level access than an admin’s.

What is specifically appearing on the back-end? If you could send us a link with screenshots, it would be very helpful.

If your user is still set to an admin’s, we may suggest you simply deleting and reinstalling the plugin.

Let us know if this clears out the issue.

    Best regards,

How can I link to a screenshot?

If I delete the plugin and install it again, won’t I loose all the users and their passwords and so on?

    Thanks – Lene

    Hi amdbta,

You may upload your image to a free image hosting website, such as https://postimage.org/, and provide us with direct links to the screenshots.

As for uninstalling the plugin, all the information should still be in your database, so you should not be losing any of the users.

Additionally, could you let us know if the users that have been added to the system were pending accounts?

Side note: @amdbta That bbcode stuff for [url] and [img] doesn’t work here. It does trigger the spam filter though. 😉

Have you enabled user registration? They may be registering that way.

    Hi amdbta,

If you’re receiving spam registrations/submissions, you should enable “Captcha” in the “Premium” area of the “Options” tab.

OK about Captcha, but that doesn’t solve the current situation, where all tabs are empty as shown on the pictures I send you …

    Hi amdbta,

Are there any JavaScript errors (in the console) on the tab pages that don’t load? It definitely looks like a conflict with another script or something from another plugin or the theme.
