• We recently shifted to GeneratePress and found that all our posts and pages are left-aligned by default. Why is that and how to fix it? We are using GeneratePress premium.

  • Hi there,

That’s the default alignment of WordPress itself. To alter that, just change the alignment of the Block through the Toolbar alignment settings.

It seems like it only happens for GeneratePress. Switching the theme fixes the editor. All classic editors data is left aligned. What is the solution?

I have checked on Twenty Twenty-Four. Everything looks good, it is just GeneratePress that has this problem.

What alignment would you like the texts to be? Can you share the link to your site?

In my screenshot above, the content is all aligned towards the left side. Works fine on the frontend but its just the block editor which looks like that. It is fine to use GeneratePress container and align the content but the default content coming from the old classic editor is all left aligned by default. If you want I can create a login and give you a temp access, or is it better suited for the GeneratePress’ forums site?

Do you have GP premium? If so, you can open a topic in the premium forum, so that you can share the site credential via the private info field. We will be happy to take a look. Let me know!
