• I am trying to experiment with a “currently reading” image from allconsuming.net. They provide some code to work with but I can’t figure out whether it goes in wp-layout.css or index.php … nor can I figure out where in those documents I should put it exactly.
I was trying to put the code I was provided with here but it wasn’t all showing up.
I’m fairly sure I’ve seen some “currently reading” lists around. Hopefully someone can help me figure out how to integrate this into my blog. Thanks!

  • To be more precise, put it in your index.php page. The best place in there is among the sidebar stuff, the list of links and things. Take a look at what’s in there and follow 2fargon’s advice, and it should show up on your blog.
Also be aware that it can slow page loading time since it’s calling images from the allconsuming site. It’s not usually a problem, just something to keep in mind 😀

I managed to figure it out, got it working, and then figured out I wasn’t entirely happy with how it fit in at my site. Thanks for the suggestions though folks, as it did help me to figure out what I needed to do.
