all comments get marked as spam

    I have a spam problem, not that i’m getting spam but legitimate comments from people other than myself are getting marked as spam. below are my settings;

    notify any Weblogs UNCHECKED
    link notifications from other Weblogs CHECKED
    post comments on the article CHECKED
    anyone posts a comment CHECKED
    held for moderation CHECKED
    approve the comment UNCHECKED
    fill out name and e-mail CHECKED
    previously approved comment CHECKED

    Can anyone help?

    You may have a space or extra blank line in your spam blacklist. I’m not sure exactly what’s wrong, but I do recall someone had a similar problem quite a while ago.

    my blacklist is completely blank, no spaces, lines, etc…

    You didn’t mention what spam related plugins you’re running? Might be helpful.

    Seems odd. Are they being marked as Spam or simply being held for moderation?

    What’s in the Comment Moderation fields?

    they’re getting marked as spam. hold for moderation says 0. the only reason i knew they were there is because i went to the database and found them there. i was able to change them in the database from ‘spam’ to ‘0’ and then they showed up in the moderation.
