All comments became Anonymous

    Everything was alright a few days back, but no idea how all my wordpress comment_author names have changed to a single name Anonymous.
    No idea how it happened but is there way to revert the names to original?
    Blog I need help with is http://gauravtiwari.org .

    I have the same problem. All comments became anonymous, even if the user writes his name in the name field when commenting.

    I´m using twenty eleven and I have wp updated, with no changes in the last days, except some plugins that were updated.

    Did you try re-syncing the comments from Disqus to WordPress? I’m not sure if you need to delete them from WP first… Please, also read this

    Gaurav has Disqus in his blog, but I have never had it in mine, and I have the same problem. Maybe Disqus is not the guity

    Good advice for the future, but I have solved it yet. Is was becouse of the plugin DW Question Answer. I deactivate it and all comments are now with the author´s name right. Thanks.

    I installed disqus after this issue started appearing. Names are showing only on those comments, which were already uploaded on my disqus dashboard. It seems a native WP problem.
