all albums have been deleted! syntax error in album specification

    HI,
    I have been using this plugin for years and it has been fine.

    This week I am getting a syntax error due to album not existing.
    When I check the album admin page, there are no albums anymore.

    I found a similar closed post with the same issue, but you said someone must have deleted the albums. This is not the case, no one has deleted my albums, the plugin has deleted them.

    Is there anyway to get them back?

    Hi,
    Further to the above.

    I can see all my photos are still on the server, but the plugin is showing no albums or photos.
    I cannot create a new album as it gives error.
    I cannot upload any photos due to not been able to create albums.

    In the settings screen it says I need to deactivate and reactivate the plugin.
    It also says its Missing 7 database tables.

    I deactivate and reactivate the plugin and now I can create albums. So I guess now I have to start again and set everything up from scratch.

    Someone or some process must have deleted the 7 db tables. There is no code inside wppa that can do so. It must have been done ‘outside’ wppa. If you have a backup of the db, restore the wppa tables.
    Check if you have a plugin that ‘cleans’ your db and has removed the db tables.
