All ads controlled only by "Multiple Posts"

    I have a splash page of post blurbs that when “read more” is clicked it takes one to the full posts contents. The splash page has 10 posts. The posts page has only the content for that 1 post. Pretty common setup.

    Well, if I use “Multiple Posts” it actually controls the ads on the splash page as expected. BUT it is also controlling what is on the single post page, but should those not be controlled by “Single Posts & Static Pages”?

    For now, I do not even use “Single Posts & Static Pages” since “Multiple Posts” is already controlling “Single Pages where ONE Post is displayed in full length or on static pages”. How is this possible?
