  • There are errors in the div structure of the HTML.

Try adding a couple of </div> tags at the end of the sidebar HTML code.

I found an easier way, I took out the plugin of the mechanical counter and the problem went away.
Besides, I don’t have the knowledge yet of how to fix it the way you described.

OK, well you found a solution, so that’s good.

I do want to say THANKS for responding. Maybe soon I will know how to fix things like that!

Sounds like the HTML problem was a combination of the plugins you are using and the theme itself. I didn’t spend too long looking at the code but chances are that adding a couple of </div> tags at the bottom of the sidebar.php file in the theme might have fixed the layout problem.
There are lots of tutorials on the web about how to do theming if you want to learn about it.

I know it will be inevitable to learn about theming and writing code.
At work we deal with what we call “feature interactions” and this sounds similar.
    Once again, thank you.
