 * anyone else having trouble with the alinks plugin when activated i cant log in
   to my wp admin

 * I had the same problem. Had to disable it to get back into my admin. Still looking
   for the fix though.

 * Exact same problem here. All of a sudden I couldn’t enter into the back-end of
   my wordpress. After a lot of search amongst my plugins I found it was Alinks 
   the cause of it. It’s a pitty cause it’s a nice plugin, it would be nice if it
   could be fixed. There may be alternative solutions though, some of them are indicated
