I think your asking to remove the white space on the left? Have you set the shop’s page template to full width? If that doesn’t work, try this in your custom css:
.shop-page #page #container {max-width: 100%;}

I tried that, this is how it looks http://www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/newwebsite/?post_type=product, it still stays the same. Do you think it is something to do with the images aligning to the right.

Since I last looked you’ve put in a left sidebar with a search box, so the products now can’t go further to the left. I think how it is now is as good as it gets.
You might think about filling out the left sidebar a bit. There’s a woo widget which will show your featured products for instance, or maybe your business twitter feed if you have one.
Yes I put the sidebar in as this was the only way to clear the white space.
This will do for now.
If there is only one image per line it goes to the right, you can see this when viewing the site on a mobile device.
