    Hi All,

    I’ve added a text in the functions.php in variable “$newline_credits = “Content” “.

    But i need to make this line only right and $credits line as it is i.e. (center).

    Could this be possible.

    Thanks

    Site

    Firstly,Earlier i added some content like “All rights reserved”, but, now i don’t want to display anything after my site name.

    If i leave it blank with one whitespace(otherwise, it will display powered by), it is displaying .. dots. I don’t want to display anything.

    Secondly, i need to give one line space b/w Site name and next line content (Contact us | Sitemap), is it possible?

    Thanks

    Did you use this snippet?

    If so, can you paste the code you have in functions.php as it looks like you might have missing quotes maybe?

    Otherwise, how are you making these changes to the footer?

    Yeah, i’m using this snippet only to modify the footer. What i need is, not to write anything inside $credits line as well as not to display the “Designed by Themes & Co”.

    If i’m leaving blank $credits variable, it is displaying “Designed by Themes & Co” as a default one. But, if i’m giving any whitespace, it is displaying dots.

    You could see my site and tell the story.

    Thanks

    This will only display (c)2014 Thakural Electric Works

    add_filter('tc_credits_display', 'my_custom_credits');
    function my_custom_credits(){
    return '
    <div class="span4 credits">
        		    	<p> &copy; '.esc_attr( date( 'Y' ) ).' <a href="'.esc_url( home_url() ).'" title="'.esc_attr(get_bloginfo()).'" rel="bookmark">'.esc_attr(get_bloginfo()).'</a></p>		</div>';
    }

    If you still want the 2nd line then use this:

    add_filter('tc_credits_display', 'my_custom_credits');
    function my_custom_credits(){
    $newline_credits = '<a href="<YOURLINK HERE>">Contact Us</a>';
    return '
    <div class="span4 credits">
        		    	<p> &copy; '.esc_attr( date( 'Y' ) ).' <a href="'.esc_url( home_url() ).'" title="'.esc_attr(get_bloginfo()).'" rel="bookmark">'.esc_attr(get_bloginfo()).'</a>'.($newline_credits ? '<br />'.$newline_credits.'' : '').'</p>		</div>';
    }

    Thanks. What if i need to add a line inside $ new credits variable like:
    $newline_credits = ‘Contact us | Sitemap‘;

    So, in totality, two points are there:

    Firstly, as u suggested on the above post..to only display (c)2014 Thakural Electric Works.

    Secondly, what if i need to display “sitemap | contact us” below the (c)2014 Thakural Electric Works line, so, for that, i wrote the html inside $newline_credits variable. Will it work?

    I hope i’m not confusing you.

    All in all, my requirement is :
    (c)2014 Thakural Electric Works
    space of one line
    contact us | sitemap

    Thanks a lot. Only new line is not coming up b/w :

    © 2014 Thakural Electric Works
    and
    Contact us | Sitemap

    Thanks

    $newline_credits can include any HTML. As you already have it setup for Contact US/Sitemap, you need to add <br /> in front of existing code, something like:

    add_filter('tc_credits_display', 'my_custom_credits');
    function my_custom_credits(){
    $newline_credits = '<br /><a href="<YOURLINK HERE>">Contact Us</a> | <a href="<YOURLINK HERE>">Sitemap</a>';
    return '
    <div class="span4 credits">
        		    	<p> © '.esc_attr( date( 'Y' ) ).' <a href="'.esc_url( home_url() ).'" title="'.esc_attr(get_bloginfo()).'" rel="bookmark">'.esc_attr(get_bloginfo()).'</a>'.($newline_credits ? '<br />'.$newline_credits.'' : '').'</p>		</div>';
    }

    Thanks a lot. It worked.
