• I’m new to using WP. I created my first blog post with it, but the “align” feature (left, center, or right) is only aligning the first paragraph. When viewed on a webpage, the first paragraph looks like it looks in WP. It is aligned to the left in both in WP and on the webpage. And the spacing between the words on the page is identical to the spacing between the words in WP.

In every other paragraph, something different happens. Every line is still aligned to the left in WP, and the spacing between the words is normal. But when viewed on a webpage, the words stretch from one side of a row to the other side. The text is both left-aligned and right-aligned, and there are abnormal spaces between the words to make this possible. So it looks a bit strange.

How do I make all the paragraphs respond to the alignment feature?

    Thanks

Here’s a little more info, which makes this sound even stranger. I just copied what was on my webpage and pasted it into an email. In the email, this text looks exactly like the WP version. Everything in the email is aligned left, and the odd looking stretching of words across an entire row, with the abnormal spaces, is gone.

Your theme should normally handle the alignment, so there is seldom a need to use the “buttons” above the WSIWYG editor. What theme are you using and if the blog is online, please supply a link to it?
