• Hi, I have been using page builder to compile a product information list. I have a column for description and another column for an image of the that product, for both of these I have used a visual editor widget. What I would like to do is vertically align the 2. At the moment the text column starts a lot higher the the image.
    Is this possible?
Or has anyone got a better way of showing a product with its description. I have around 20 plus products to list with descriptions.

I would send a link to a screen grab, but I cant seem to work it out.

Any help on these issues would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

Hi Misplon, Thanks for your response, I’m not sure how to give you the link as the site isn’t online yet. Is their a way to give you a link without the site online?

    Thanks again

Thanks Jason. Each time it’ll depend on the item in the cell. Could you indicate which elements, specifically, you’re looking to vertically align. We’ll try help out with a little Custom CSS.

    Hi

Its at the front page. About page.

2nd row. Where the layout builder widget with description of services on the left and the revolution slider one the right.I need to aligned the 2 columns, currently the revolution slider is longer by heights compare to the layout builder widget. jaskhoo.com

    Hope that’s what you meant.

    Cheers

Ok, with you. One option would be to change the slider height to 285px in the slider settings.

Another option is to edit the Visual Editor widget that you have your text in on the left. Click Attributes top right and insert the following in the CSS Styles field:

    padding-bottom: 26px

    Thanks @misplon!

Both works but Using the padding on the visual editor helps keep it proportionate which is really great.

If you don’t mind how do you find the height to aligned the 2 columns. Using firebug, i seems to get only the heights for the revolution slider column.

That’s it, except I’m using Chrome Developer extension. It’s a matter of hovering very carefully in the last 2% of the purple block on the right. That picks up the outer container and therefore the width and height of the block.

    Thanks! Really appreciate it…. fantastic.

Btw. I should close the new thread i open earlier for the support?
