Support » Fixing WordPress » aligning images in page

  • hi,
i’m adding 150 images all 190×150 but some line up and other are way out and look terrible once saved.
when i ‘left click’ the icon doesn’t move and i can’t seem to move the image, drag and drop, or anything once imported to the screen.

i’ve uploaded 12 so far here and as you can see the last one ‘no. 12’ is below the others. id like to sort this before i tackle the rest.

    thanks in advance
    dan

  • For me the easiest way is to add a table.

thanks i’ll look into that right now 🙂

You have missed the alignright class on “lesson 6”, in the editor view the html and add the missing class.

Images 1 and 2 are 233 * 193 to start and image 3 is 380 * 324, when WordPress resizes these to 190 * 150 it will do this proportionally, so image 3 looks slightly deeper as 1 and two are the same size to start.

One and two are resized to 190 wide and slightly less than 150 high, and due to starting size, where three is sized at 150 high and not quite 190 wide.

Image 12 is 452 * 393, and there are a few others out of line if you look again, so a table will not help.

Edit the original images and crop 19:15 so they have the same same starting ratio, 5:4 or 4:3 are more regular and would give 190 * 142.5, however delete the old ones and upload them again.
