# Aligning images

 * I’m using theme Twenty Twelve, and I’m trying to put three 150×150 thumbnails
   side by side, but I can’t seem to do it. I’ve tried align, CSS float, everything
   I could think of. The best I got was three images across, but the center was 
   either skewed to the left or right. Short of going to another theme, is there
   anything I can do? I’m going to try <BR CLEAR=”LEFT”, and Right>, next, but I
   don’t have a clue what this will do, I just found it in a search. [http://matubbesing.com](http://matubbesing.com)

 * CSS is the best route. I used tables for a time and then css finally caught up.

 * Thank you, both. I went with the tables to start, ’cause they’re easy. I’ll learn
   the CSS and go with that, as time permits. Thanks again.

 * Yep css is good for left and right floats but centering a third element between
   them is tricky esp across all browsers.
 * I think css needs to develop a little further for doing this.
