    HI,
when using v1.9.9, you can achieve that kind of layout by simply editing some line in the plugin CSS code: switching everything set as “display: table-cell;” into “display:block;”.

I suggest to do this by reèplicating those rules in your theme’s css because you might loose your changes with the future update.

Hey I’d like to do the same thing but cannot find the “css-front” file that existed in 1.9.9. version. How do I do this with the latest version?

    Hi Franci.
As suggested on the documentation page and descriptions, SRP v2.0.0 now has a built-in custom CSS editor where you can put your custom code. Never edit the core files anymore.

SRP PRO Edition has a built-in feature that lets you put your title or thumbnail above all the rest. This feature is not present in the FREE Edition.

Thanks! Could you help me out with the CSS code. Not sure how to change “table-cell” into “block” via the CSS editor.

Just replace the word “table-cell” with “block”.

I’d like to very much but my CSS editor doesn’t contain any code that I could change.

@franci S: sorry, i don’t understand what you wanna do.
What SRP FREE version have you installed and what are you trying to achieve?

I have the latest SRP 2.01 and would like to place title and excerpt under the thumbnail.
I understand I have to change “table-cell” with “block” but I don’t know how to do this because in the newest version there’s no css file I could change and save and I don’t know how to do this in CSS editor.

Ok, let t me explain this properly.
The Special Recent Posts FREE Edition has never had the ability to put the thumbnail above the content. On versions 1.9.x i suggested a little css fix to achieve this, but since version 2.0.0, the plugin has been re engineered and many css rules rewritten to provide a responsive layout. So the “table-cell” fix doesn’t work anymore on v2.0.0

The option to put the thumbnail above everything else is available only in the PRO Edition.

OK, thanks for explaining. Think I’ll go for PRO in that case.

    You’re welcome.
