Support » Plugin: TablePress » Aligning column position in multiple tables on page

    Hi Tobias,

    I have a small problem that I have not found a specific answer for by searching the forum. On a page of my site I have multiple tables that are positioned one above the other. The divider lines that separate the columns should line up, but they are different in each table. I saw a response to another question that mentioned setting the first column width – would that make all of the column lines line up? You can view this page I am having the problem with at http://www.greentarayoga.com/demo/classes-and-workshops/schedule-and-fees/

    Thank you very much.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The best approach here is to target all TablePress tables that are on that specific page, when modifying the column widths using CSS code.
    The page has the internal ID 82, so that you could use the following CSS code. Just add this to the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress:

    .page-id-82 .tablepress .column-1 {
      width: 25%;
    }
    .page-id-82 .tablepress .column-2 {
      width: 40%;
    }
    .page-id-82 .tablepress .column-3 {
      width: 35%;
    }

    You can of course adjust the widths as necessary.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Brilliant! Thank you!
