Hi jseth, you could try and wrap the shortcode in a div container and add some class rules. I have not tried this myself but you could see if that works for you.
For example:
< div style=”add some rules here;”>[ shortcode ]</div >

Hi, I have the same question, and have tried left justifying, putting in div style codes, wrapping it in a left justified table, nothing works, it forces a full width spot, no matter what I try. It seems to override all codes trying to make it stay left.

It also is messing somehow with my text line spacing in the first paragraph, not sure how that is happening.
Any suggestions on this? I’d really like to have a left justified slideshow, and the suggestions above are not working
Hi @meadwench make the following changes…
table {
border: 1px solid #eee;
line-height: 24px;
padding: 5px 10px;
width: 55%;
}
Notice how I changed the width: 55%;
Regards
Sadly, that doesn’t work. I already had a set width for the table, and it is ignoring it. I also have the code in the css for the slideshow set to a specific width, and it seems to be ignoring it.
Hi @meadwench where did you add the code above?
I was working in the table code. i have multiple tables, and don’t want to have a single width in my overall css to force the entire site to that size. I got it working using style settings within the individual table.
@meadwench so your issue is resolved?
