If my featured image is of an awkward size, it doesn't fill the bubble on the front page, and is aligned to the top of the bubble. I think it'd look better vertically aligned to the middle - has anyone done this?

    Thanks all,
    Steve

Hi Steve, did you try to regenerate your images with the regenerate thumbnail plugin?

More about image sizes in Customizr :

Thanks for the tip, but these have been uploaded under the new theme - I've tried regenerating anyhow but no change.

I think it's because my images are smaller than the bubble thumbnail size in the vertical dimension. I can't work out where the CSS is for the vertical-align of those images.

    Thanks again,
    Steve

    Lateral thinking:

Can you resize the Images (eg Photoshop) to 270x250px? You won't need to change CSS at all?

I can, rdell, and I expect that's what I'll do in the short term, but it's annoying not being able to do it for all images :)

    Cheers,
    Steve
