Support » Themes and Templates » Align menu to the right

  • I’m trying to figure out how to align my menu to the right side of the header.
    I created a new page and set “Theme Location” to Top Menu.
    It appeared in header, but not the way I wanted.
    Since I haven’t got much experience with CSS, I can’t resolve this problem.

    This is how my menu looks like:

    And this is what I would like to get:

    http://s28.postimg.org/mr9gotwf1/Sample2.png

    I tried to use something like this:

    .sample {
        text-align: right;
        float: right;
        }

    But it doesn’t make any change.
    Please, help me to get it right!

    Can’t help with CSS without seeing a live site.

    It’s local and not live yet.

    Unfortunate…may not be possible to help. Someone needs to be able to use a browser tool like Firebug to see what’s going on with the CSS/HTML.

    That said, what theme are you using? Where are you changing the CSS?

    I’m using MyStile theme by WooThemes. Dreamweaver is for CSS editing.

    Unfortunately, that’s not a theme supported on these forums – we only support themes from here:

    https://wordpress.org/themes/

    If it were a theme from this site, I’d install it on a test site and see if I could sort the CSS for you.

    Assuming that WooThemes doesn’t provide support for their free themes, you might want to consider using a theme from this site – perhaps this one:
