[Resolved] Align Custom Banner

  • Hi vladff,

    first of all, awesome Theme! Really happy to have this. I’m not that good in customizing the stylesheet, but i think with your help i can do it. I just need to know where i have to edit the code to align my custom made banner to the left side, so that it is in one line with the posts. I can’t find the setting in the stylesheet or the different PHP Files. I do use a Child theme, if that’s necessary for editing. Sorry for the inconvenience 🙂

    Keep up the good work!

    Hello,

    Would be nice if I could see your site, so I know what banner you`re talking about :).

    Basically, what you would need to do is add a float: left to the selector of that banner. Post a link and I`ll take a look.

    Add this code to your child theme and let me know if it works for you:

    .site-branding {
       padding: 30px 100px;
       text-align: left;
    }
    /* Smaller screens */
    @media screen and (max-width: 600px) {
      .site-branding {
         padding: 30px 25px;
      }
    }
    @media screen and (max-width: 320px) {
      .site-branding {
         padding: 30px 0;
      }
    }

    Edit: Forgot to mention, to your child themes` style.css

    It worked. Thanks for you help, really appreciate it!
