Please understand. Once you Turn OFF your REST API, you turn it off for the entire website including your admin area.

Doing this will impact your ability to edit your website’s content utilizing the Blocks.

This will be addressed in a future version, where you will have an additional setting to select whether or not you want to keep it active for specific Roles.

For now, I know, and there is no need for support requests to fix it.
