# Alert Emails

 * Anyone know how to alter the alert timings? Trying to get the alerts to run every
   5 mins (just to test they are working).
 * Followed insutrciotns via [https://holisticwp.com/blog/replace-wordpress-cron-with-real-cron-job/74](https://holisticwp.com/blog/replace-wordpress-cron-with-real-cron-job/74)
 * and still no are alerts being sent
 * Even tried EasyCron ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/easycron/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/easycron/))

 * If I click the “Email” link on the Job Alerts dashboard, then this triggers the
   alert.

   us at wpjobmanager.com/support and we can help you out with this issue if you
   have a license. We have had some reports of issues with this and what this usually
   boils down to is the host hijacking the cron system which requires some interventions
