Alert emails formatting broken

    Hi there,

    With a recent update to the plugin the email alerts I’ve been receiving about new posts/topics have strange formatting within them (basically lots of ‘=’ signs throughout and images are not coming through).

    Not sure if any other users are experiencing this issue. I can’t see any settings where I can change the mode of the email but I think it has to do with php sendmail settings. I know I had a similar formatting issue with another WP plugin last year (https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-subscribers/).

    Right now I am receiving the emails using the Outlook.com email client. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or is it just my particular setup?

    Can you post a screen with an example? I assume that its caused by another plugin because I didnt get any other reports about it yet.

    It appears to happen sporadically. Not entirely sure how, haven’t seen anything suspicious within the wp debug and apache logs.

    I havent got any other reports of this problem yet so I assume that this is a configuration problem on your server side or another extensions. Have you found a solution or could you find a cause for it in the meantime?
