    Hi Bradvin,

I’ve just discovered FooGallery and it is AWESOME! I was using a bunch of galleries on one page until I realized I could enable the Album extension and use that.

Galleries worked and displayed fine, but I can’t get Albums to work correctly. You can check out the page I am having issues with here. http://www.rnyc.nf.ca/club-photos/

I followed the fix provided by Launch Interactive about a month ago but that’s not working either.

I’ve reset the permalinks and I’ve also toggled on/off pretty vs querystring with no success.

Are you able to help please?

    Thanks,
    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

Please can you link to the album page that is not working. I had a look at your link http://www.rnyc.nf.ca/club-photos/ but there is only a form on that page and no albums.

    Hi Bradvin,

That’s the thing – I do have an album added on the page, but it’s not showing up live. Here’s the snippet of code I am using in the text editor.

    [foogallery-album id="2335"]

I can display galleries no problem, but the album fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jamie

    Cool Jamie,

This may be a dumb question, but how many galleries are selected in the album?
And what album template are you using? You may need to create an temp login for me so that I can jump on and have a look what is going on and try a few things. You can use brad@fooplugins.com

    Hi Brad,

I’ll create a user for you now. We’re using a custom built template (which may be the issue) and there’s likely over 40 galleries in there. I don’t think it’s the number of galleries though since it failed when I had only 1 and 2 in there as well (as tests).

    Thanks,
    Jamie

    Jamie,

If you are using a custom built template, then please email me the zip so I can test it locally

    Hi Brad,

I’ve requested the zipped theme from the developer but it’ll likely be later today before they can deliver it. In the meantime, I’ve made you an Admin.

Thanks again for your prompt attention.

    Cheers,
    Jamie

Jamie, you had no galleries selected in the album. I edited the album, clicked the first gallery (so a big blue tick was shown) and then saved.

Now when I visit the page, I can see the album

    Hi Brad,

Thanks – I didn’t notice that. As I test the gallery you’ve posted I get this issue:

Each time the gallery is clicked, the web address grows like this:

    http://www.rnyc.nf.ca/club-photos/gallery/club-photos/gallery/club-photos/gallery/club-photos/gallery/club-photos/

What’s happening here? Something from when I was adjusting the permalinks?

    Thanks,
    Jamie
