    Hello, since the last update we are not able to open our album manager. it starts loading, but never opens. Also when using a gallerie in a article and selecting pictures, everything freezes.

    I have the same problem. The page stays in continuous load and crashes (accessible only as admin). I’m going crazy!!. Please help

    If you follow this page the Yoast people have kindly provided instructions on how to open your browsers development tools. If you open the development tools on those pages are you getting any javascript errors? Thanks,

    I’ve found lately that our albums page has some problems like this with WordPress 5.5+ due to some of the jQuery changes and conflicts caused by problems still using “older” jQuery code. You can try activating Enable jQuery Migrate Helper from Automattic which may solve the problem.

    If that doesn’t can you please try to deactivate your other plugins to determine if there is a conflict or if it is entirely NextGEN’s issue? Thanks!

    In my case, after many hours of testing and analysis, I have been able to detect that there is an incompatibility of Nextgen with jquery-migrate, which since version 5.6 has evolved to jQuery Migrate 3.3.2, generating some incompatibilities and malfunction of plugins that do not they have adapted to change.
    The temporary solution has been to install and Enable jQuery Migrate Helper (https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/) and configure the plugin in tools / jquery migrate, to a previous version.
    And start working properly.

    That seems to be working now, altough moving a gallery to an album still wis slow
