While researching some server issues, I’ve noticed a rather alarming number of requests to the following:
where [Platform] is either “twitter” or “facebook” and [PostID] is a post ID.
These requires are usually coming from one after another within seconds or minutes or each other, each with a different post number. A majority of these requests come from China. Needless to say, I’m not based in China.
Trying to go to the web sites myself, I’m redirected to the authorization screen for Twitter or Facebook to allow Social Proxy by Mailchimp access to my Twitter/Facebook account. Allow access redirects back to sopresto.socialize-this.com with a blank screen.
I have over 300 of these requests since the beginning of the month. May not be much to some but still seems alarming to me. Is this something I should be concern with? Any suggestions as to what I can do to prevent this?
