ALA Style Mini Bio?

    Howdy. I am seeking general guidance on how to go about tagging a mini-bio (a thumbnail image and a line of text) at the end of a blog post (A-list-apart style). What would be a good approach?

    I’ve been reading up on templates and template tags, and I’m getting the impression that it would be a matter of making a custom template… or at least modifying one.

    The thing is I would like this to be dynamic… in other words, done right. That would probably require some work with the database also.

    Thoughts?

    Okay, as I continue reading I am learning.

    I see there are a host of Author tags, but it seems it would be slick if I could make two new tags, if it were possible, like a short description and an image. It would also be cool if that could be added to the admin, under profiles. Is that something someone like me (with nominal php knowledge) could do?

    Or is there another way altogether?
