Akismet with Contact Form-7 Spam unidentified negatives

    Am using Contact Form-7 latest version: 4.4.2, with Akismet 3.1.11 So far 100% of the emails sent to me, around 2/day, [aside from tests I sent to myself] are SPAM, usually from “supposed women”.

    I can find no way within Akismet to tag these sent emails as SPAM nor in Contact Form-7. I have an Akismet account and have place the Akismet codes in my Contact Form 7 form. I’m planning on adding reCaptua but haven’t done so yet.

    Any suggestions, at least I’d like to tell someone this particular email is spam.

    Use a reCaptcha and/or install the plugin ‘zero spam’

    The zerospam looks very interesting but why isn’t the Akismet catching ANY Spam? I just renewed my subscription and paid for it. Shouldn’t it at least filter out for keywords involving peoples’ genitalia?

    I can find no way to even tag these offensive contacts as Spam.

    Also Caputa has been discontinued in favor of a very complex “recaptua” involving Google registration, creation of tagged key pairs and a lot of other crap. This is integrated with Akismet. All so Google can make a buck coming up with new advertising or something.

    I don’t know; I don’t use akismet. I use reCaptcha and zero spam.

    Contact Form 7 natively supports the new reCaptcha. and if you read the terms, it has nothing to do with advertising — it’s used to train stuff for auto-recognition for street view and self-driving cars.

    Actually found out that CF-7 has a quiz which suffices. Thus I don’t have to spend all my time helping Google make self driving cars.
