 * Greetings.
 * I started receiving a large quantity of spam comments that weren’t going straight
   to the deleted items area. So, I went to check my Akismet Configuration and got
   a blank page except for the little blue area on top with the menu items.
 * So, I uploaded a new version of Akismet and have the same problem.
 * Please help! I have a very popular blog and it is being killed by spam.

 * I tried bumping up the `memory_limit` value in `php.ini` from `8M` to `16M` and
   that fixed similar problems for me. Try that.

 * Thanks, but where do I find the php.ini file. Is it the one for Askimet or is
   it another one somewhere else that’s part of the wordpress install.

 * Vince, you may need to contact your domain host provider about the php.ini file–
   it’s usually server-side resident and not in a folder you can access.
 * If the host is okay with changing to a higher memory limit, they’ll just bump
   it for you.
