Akismet broken?

    I’ve been using Akismet for years and bragging about it’s spam-flagging abilities.

    However, since several hours ago, it seems to be broken. I run a very busy site, and from near zero-spam (Akismet plus Conditional Captcha), I’m now getting hundreds of spam comments per hour.

    They are not flagged as spam, but appear in the moderation queue. And a notice in grayed-out front says “Awaiting spam check.”

    Have others experienced the same problem?

    The problem seems to have resolved itself.

    However, I updated “Conditional Captcha” in the meantime. But Akismet should have put the comments in the spam folder, even without Conditional Captcha.
