Akismet API key showing in blog header…

Everything was fine and I decided to add my akismet API code and activate akismet. Now, the API key actually shows up in the header of my blog on all pages? I don’t know code so well…Is there something in the edit header I should look for? I deactivated and even deleted the plugin, and the code stayed in the header…just below the blog title…
