Akismet analyzes admin too?

    Sometimes my site is unresponsive and I requested a full report by hosting company.

    They identified this pattern – whenever I edit several articles at a time the site becomes unresponsive – they say its an antispam plugin that verifies activity and waits for a response.

    Im not using any other spam plugins except Akismet.
    So, is it possible that Akismet analyzes my activity (yes i sometimes edit 5-10 posts at a time)….

    If so, how can I elude this test?
