Hi,

I have Akismet configured to work with a Contact form on https://samanthahead.com/, and it has worked well for several months now. However, in the last few days we’ve been inundated with Spam.

I see from a different Support thread that a couple of days ago Adam from WPMU DEV Support indicated that there is a know bug and that the Forminator developers are working on a fix.

Do you have an ETA? My client is very concerned and asking about moving to an alternative form.

Hi @peterhardicker,

I’m afraid, at the moment there isn’t an exact ETA that we could provide regarding the status of the bug.

I have brought your ticket to our developers attention so that they are aware of your concern, and to give this a priority.

Thanks for your note, but we are still receiving spam contact form submissions through Forminator and my client is chasing me of a solution.

Can you advise whether a fix will be a few days, a week, or longer away?

I can see that the Forminator team is working on this with a major priority but still can’t provide an exact ETA.

While our team work on this issue, can you please try using hCapthca?

Hi @peterhardicker,

I hope you are doing well today!

Our Forminator team is still working on the issue but unfortunately we don’t have any ETA. Since it is a major bug it requires more testing and will be fixed and merged with the upcoming releases as soon as possible.

I am afraid we could not provide any estimated duration, thanks for your understanding.

Have you tried hCapthca as suggested before and still getting spam submissions?
