Hey, I love this plugin, and it’s super useful for working on a WordPress multisite with other languages.

One MAJOR issue I’ve come accross, is that front-end AJAX requests’ locale are being affected by the plugin. This means date formats, or any localized text being brought in by AJAX is not the site’s actual language, but the language selected by the logged-in user.

Not a HUGE HUGE deal since it’s not end user facing, but it is client facing, so perhaps there’s a way you can either:
    – when on front end, check against DOING_AJAX constant.
    – fallback of targetting only /wp-admin/ URLs

A combination of those should solve the issue! 🙂

  • Same problem here.

My frontend language from Ajax call is the backend user defined language not the site’s actual language.

    Any turn around for this?

There’s an option to select if the Native Dashboard does affect or not the front end page. You should check it. Maybe it’d fix the issue.
