Ajax pagination when applying 'sort by review' filter

  • Hey guys,

I’m currently having a product review site built for me using WordPress and WooCommerce. The freelancer has built the search function which uses Ajax to search and to change search result pages. They’ve now informed me, however, that they’d be unable to implement a ‘sort by rating’ feature whilst keeping the Ajax pagination because rating is stored in the meta-comments, not the database. As a result, if I wanted to continue to use Ajax, they would have to remove the pagination and rather display one page with all the products on it (if the user selected to sort by rating).

I do have faith in their ability and they say they have tried a number of workarounds but to no avail. I just wanted to check to make sure they’ve not overlooked any potential solutions. Can anyone advise if they have?

    Many thanks
