# Ajax error

 * Error is
 * **Saving failed: AJAX call successful, internal saving process failed. Try again
   while holding down the “Shift” key.**
 * I have already read a few thread discussing this issue. However, I have deduced
   that my issue only occurs when I use certain HTML within a cell. For example
 * `<p class="tablecolours" style="background-color: #b1b6b2">Some text here</p>`
 * Removing either _class _or _style _does not make a difference but removing both,
   for example
 * `<p>Some text here</p>`
 * and it saves fine.
 * Any ideas?

 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * I’m not really sure what’s causing this, but here I assume that some other plugin
   is messing with the quotation marks (as those are present in both those HTML 
   attributes).
 * Can you therefore please check if this happens with all other plugins deactivated
   and after switching to a WordPress default theme like TwentyFifteen?

 * I’ve tried that Tobias, plugins and theme, still the same issue. It’s not just
   your plugin either, Gravity Forms has the exact same problem i.e. cannot save
   a form using quotation marks.
 * We have a Multisite setup and also use Sucuri for firewall and caching. I’m not
   sure if this may be part of the problem, but I have been clearing cache when 
   checking the issue.

 * Hi,
 * that somehow indicates that the server might play a role here as well. For example,
   there could be something like mod_security that is blocking the requests, maybe
   for security reasons (although that would be too strict here).

 * A small confession 🙂 I never checked for a conflict with Domain Mapping by WPMU
   because I didn’t want the sites to go down. But, you guessed it, that is what
   is causing the conflict.
 * I’ve informed the author and they confirmed the conflict. Still waiting for a
   fix.
