Support » Plugin: Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log » Ajax eror when trying to send test email

  • Hi all,

I get ‘Ajax error’ and ‘An unexpected error occurred:’ when I attempt to send a test email (via SendGrid). This used to work just fine. How can I diagnose the problem?

Hmm, I ‘fixed’ it by disabling WordFence…

This saved me. Thanks for posting.
Not sure why this conflict with Wordfence. Was working fine with an old server, but when I moved to a new server all of a sudden, this issue.

What was really odd was the test functions on the plugin threw an error, but I would still get my wordfence emails saying there were problems or I deactivated wordfence via the plugin.

BTW I am using post smtp not the less secure postman smtp.

Postman SMTP is not maintained anymore.
I continue to develop the plugin under the name: “Post SMTP”

You are welcome to download it, you can disable the old one and activate the new one without worry about losing anything.
