Support » Fixing WordPress » AJAX Call – Does not recognise wordpress functions

  • On my website I have a theme file entitled “ajax-frontindex.php” which I include on the front page within a div “ajaxindex”.

When the page loads this includes fine and the code within it “query_posts” etc. runs and the posts display as hoped.

Now, I have a link to update the ajax-frontindex.php portion of the page with some post body information so that it shows posts from a different category. However, when calling this the file now acts by itself – essentially it does not now recognise the wordpress functions.

How can I make these functions known to the file?

Im using the moo ajax framework.
