    Hello @mgz069,

    Thank you for reaching out,

We haven’t released any update that affects WooCommerce or AJAX functionality. Also, we haven’t encountered any AJAX add-to-cart issues on any of our sites, and no other reports have been received regarding this issue.

    First, please ensure that(even again):

WooCommerce settings and OceanWP settings have the AJAX add-to-cart feature enabled:

    I. WP Dashboard WooCommerce > Settings > Products: Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives
II. WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customizing > WooCommerce > Single Product: Single Product Add to Cart

Then if the issue still persists, please follow these troubleshooting steps and let us know the results:

    Troubleshooting Steps
Switch to the primary theme (if you’re using a child theme).
Go to WP Dashboard > Plugins.
    Deactivate all plugins.
Activate only the Ocean Extra plugin.
Check if the issue still occurs.
Activate your plugins one by one.
After activating each plugin, check if the issue appears.

Note 1: You can try troubleshooting on the staging website/or on a fresh installation and ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and plugins(before updating, please get a full backup from your website).

Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, remember to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools(if you have Elementor).

Note 3: Please make sure you use the latest versions of the theme and plugins(Ocean Extra, WooCommerce, Elementor, etc.).

If you found the conflicts, please let us know what plugin, when enabled, is causing the issue.

    Please keep us posted.
    Best Regards

    I did all that!

When I switch to the main theme (from the Child theme), the ajax button works

When I go back to my child theme it does not!

Apparently something hidden in the child theme causes this

    How can I identify it?

    Hello @mgz069,

    Thank you for reaching out,

A child theme is not something where we have added code for functionality, nor is it something we can support. A child theme is meant for customizations, and you should ask the developer who created it to check this for you.

However, since you have many customizations in the child theme on your website, please do the steps below and recheck your issue and let us know the results.

    Troubleshooting child theme:
1- Remove all customization on the child theme.
2- add your customization one by one to the child theme.
3- After adding each customization code, check your issue

You can either remove or comment out the problematic piece of code and use the functionality we have provided. Alternatively, you can contact your site developer and ask them to fix this issue for you.

Note 1: in the staging website, if you have a cache plugin or server cache. You need to clear its cache contents or disable them.

Note 2: Before it, please get a full backup from your website.

    I hope it helps,
    Best Regards

    None of the above worked.

    Solution:

After digging up I found out that my OceanWP Child Theme was causing the issue.

That child theme was generated by me, years ago with a 3rd party website.

I downloaded the OFFICIAL OceanWP Child and replaced mine

I imported my previous Customizer settings & everything works!

So, check your Child theme first! If it’s not the OFFICIAL one you may have trouble
