AIOSEO Custom Title is not working

    Hi,

    I’m using free version of AIOSEO correctly updated in v2.1.4, I’ve got troubles with the Custom title.

    I’d like to rewrite title in a specific way like “Buy beat Black Mamba | Top Sale | oopproducer.com” but instead of printing this, I have “page name | BLOG TITLE” (right click->view source code, in section title)

    In the General Settings for AIOSEO, I’ve disabled “Rewrite title”, and in every pages or posts, I’ve made custom title in AIOSEO pack section.

    What’s wrong ?

    Hi yaniv,

    First of all, don’t disable Rewrite Titles, you want All in One SEO Pack to write your titles.

    To add that custom text to the end of the title for all Pages go to All in One SEO, General Settings, Title Settings and change the Page Title Format from this –

    %page_title% | %blog_title%

    To this –

    %page_title% | %blog_title% | this is my custom text

    This will output the SEO title you enter in the All in One SEO section at the bottom of the Edit Page screen, followed by your Site Title which is set under Settings, General in WordPress, followed by your custom text.
