After the last update, my website stopped working. When loading it, it shows only a blank page.

I activated WP_DEBUG and it presented me with the following problems with AIOSEO:

    Hey @miriamdepaula,

    Thank you for reporting this.

That function did not exist yet in WordPress 4.9, which I assume is the version you are using. We are releasing a small update later today or tomorrow so I’ll make sure the fix for this is included.

In the meanwhile you probably want to deactivate the plugin temporarily or download an older version here – https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/advanced/

    Thanks for replying!

I’m using version 4.9.18 yet, because my theme isn’t ready for WordPress 5+ yet. But I’m already working on this update.
Thank you so much for fixing the issue. I know I should be using the most recent version of WordPress by now and that you guys need to move forward too, but things don’t always go as we plan.

For now, I’ve downgraded to AIOSEO 4.1.3.3 and my site is back up and running!

No problem! We will be supporting WP 4.9 up to 5.2 until the end of 2021 so it’s a mistake on our end. 🙂

    Hi Arnaud –

I’m seeing a similar, but slightly different error message in 4.1.4.1. Is this also covered by the fix you are working to release this week? Or is it something altogether different?

PHP Fatal error: Trait ‘AIOSEO\\Plugin\\Common\\Traits\\Helpers\\ECommerce’ not found in /site/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/app/Common/Utils/Helpers.php on line 18

@kevinatelement that’s a different error. That file no longer exists and should also not be called for in 4.1.4.2. You might want to delete and reinstall the plugin. Seems to me like something went wrong during the update.

Yep, you are right. Something went wrong during the update. I replaced the plugin over FTP and it is working fine. Thanks for the quick reply!

    Hey @miriamdepaula,

I just wanted to let you know that we have released the update. Please let me know in case you’re still experiencing any issues after updating, but I believe the issue should be fixed.
